The same two men have come to spray for roaches at the apartment complex where I live multiple times. One time I was home when they came and the older man was so mean and hateful to me due to the maintenance on the property giving me the wrong preparatory instructions. Property maintenance gave me bed bug instructions, so I had packed up everything soft, not the kitchen stuff. I called maintenance man and he told Pest All it was his fault and apologized. The older Pest All man continued to be nasty to me, when I asked why he was talking to me like that, he said he was irritated and it was a lot of stairs to climb for him to have to go do elsewhere in the building and come back to me. So he sprayed without me emptying most of my cabinets. They have come several times after, I prepared properly, but I wasn't home. Today though, I was home, same guy, asked me some questions about pests, argued with me, was nasty again. This is my home. It's very upsetting to be disrespected and talked down to in my home. I called to complain and was told this man is always very kind and helpful. Cool, but I don't believe it. He was nasty from the start both times I've encountered him. Of course he's talking to other people this way, and it's very unfortunate. I live in a scattered site complex. My unit isn't a section 8 housing unit, but some of them in my building are. I'm a housing case manager myself, I see people talk horribly to people on housing every day of my working life. So while I'm not on housing, he wouldn't know that. And it shouldn't matter. The man I spoke with one the phone suggested maybe the issue was that it's been difficult to eradicate the roach problem here. Sure, but not in my unit, which he would know because he's been inside it many times, and that's literally his job. If there were no bugs, he wouldn't have a job. Do better.
